Post Seal
A self-adhesive waterproofing membrane specifically designed to wrap around wooden posts and poles to prevent wood rot, which results from contact with moist soil. Wood decay occurs when bacteria in the soil combine with moisture and oxygen that exist at ground level. Post Seal works by completely sealing 12" of the post or pole at ground level, where wood rot starts. The specially formulated modified asphalt adhesive in Post Seal acts as a water barrier, preventing moist soil from coming in contact with the wood. Post Seal will protect both treated and untreated wood, adding years of life to the pole or post. Ideal for pole buildings, fence posts, decks, or anywhere wood comes in contact with the soil. 12" x 18' roll seals twelve (12) 4x4 posts. |
