An excellent material for resurfacing asphalt, metal, or composition roofs. Recommended for resurfacing of old asphalt roofs. For coating steel to improve resistance to corrosion and rust. All roof surfaces to be coated must be dry and swept clean from grease, oil, rust, scale, loose paint, and dirt. Repair holes and tears with roof cement and suitable patching fabric. Apply by brush or appropriate spray equipment. 5 gallon covers approximately 375 to 750 sq. ft. on roofing felt, depending on porosity. Do not use on shingle roofs. Do not apply over damp or wet surfaces. |
