About Pahrump Rentals

Nearly forty years ago, Pahrump Rentals & Hardware started as a small equipment rental business in Lucerne Valley, California under the leadership of Karen Thomas, one of the first women in the state of California to earn her contractor's license. Since then, it has relocated, grown, and added resources until it became what it is today, Pahrump's number one resource for fast, friendly customer service in equipment rentals, hardware, and everything in between.

After starting out with only a handful of machines and a mechanic in 1979, Karen was joined in the business by her now deceased husband, George, in 1984 and later by their daughter, Meghan, in 2007. As the business and her family grew, Karen relocated to Pahrump in 1993 and began to add to her fleet until, in 2005, she added the hardware store to better suit her customers' needs. The store's newest addition, the Paint & Hobby Center, was completed in 2016 and supplies the community with art and hobby resources for every skill level.

With the help of the rest of the Pahrump Rentals & Hardware team, Karen and Meghan strive for the best in quality and customer service while continuing to learn, grow, and add to the store as their community needs.
