Product overview
The M-D Electric Pipe Heating Cable protects pipes in the home during times of freezing temperatures. This product provides a heating element for preventing the freezing of water in pipes to -40F. The built in thermostat turns the cable when temperatures lower to 38F. Requirements for installation include application tape or electrical tape, fiberglass pipe insulation, tape measure, and eye protection. Ground fault protection is highly recommended for the circuit supplying the heating cable.
