Tigre USA 2" Poly Female Pipe Thread Insert Adapter. This black plastic fitting connects to PE Polyethylene pipe with stainless steel clamps. It is for use with COLD water only and should not be used with compressed air or gases or in a dwelling. It is ASTM D-2609 Listed and NSF 14 and 16 Listed for potable water services. Insert fittings are used with polyethylene (PE) pipe in buried cold water applications only, such as irrigation, residential lawn sprinkler systems, water service pipe, and swimming pool installations. Insert fittings join to PE pipe with stainless steel clamps.
