    Crooked when New

I purchased this door with the ship to store option and examined it upon arrival for any damage as this had only a thin plastic over wrap and 4 light cardboard corner protectors. I saw no problem at the time of pickup. However when the door was mounted, the level indicated that the side(upright) rails were not squared evenly with the horizontal rails putting the door about 1/2" off of true rectangular shape needed to fir the true rectangular opening for it. The installers had to shim one side of the trim that the door hinged on, and had to use several 90* screw in fasteners to hold the door after installation to keep it from shifting back to crooked. I would not recommend this door as the manufacturing process doesn't seem to include stability as a factor and I am left guessing if it will last a year. Poor effort of the factory gluing the pieces together as some separation was visible before installation began. I would gladly pay more for a sturdy door than work with one of these again.
