A silicone acrylic sealer/stain designed to penetrate concrete surfaces to provide a long-lasting decorative finish. It is resistant to salt spray, acids, alkali, water, UV rays, and wet or dry abrasion, and has a very high resistance to traffic. Will not fade prematurely, peel, crack, or chip. Use to protect and beautify driveways, walkways, patios, garage floors, basements, porches, steps, brick, and masonry walls. Concrete must have cured at least 45 days and all old paint, oil, and grease must be removed prior to application. Most concrete must be etched prior to application. Use 1 part muriatic acid to 2 parts water unless acid is weak or concrete is extremely hard or polished. Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and allow to dry for at least 24 hours before sealing. H & C concrete sealer is designed as a 2 coat application, but a third may be required to achieve uniformity. Coarse, textured surfaces normally require more material. All colors should be reduced at least 1 quart per gallon for the first coat. Sealer may be applied by brush, roller, or spray. Clean up equipment immediately with xylol or D-100 solvent. Covers 75 to 100 sq. ft. per gallon on fluted block and up to 200 to 250 sq. ft. per gallon on concrete floors.
