    Great work gloves

Wife bought me a pair of these last Christmas. I forgot about them until last month when I had started doing some heavy yard/landscaping work around the house. I had been using a mechanic style pair of gloves that did nothing for preventing punctures and blisters. I cut the tag off of these and they fit tight and I love the Velcro wrist wrap. Keeps dirt and junk from entering the gloves. So I have been putting these through their paces for the past month. I've cutback and pruned huge knockout roses and 3/4" thorn vines. Both always pierced through my old gloves and into my hand. I was hesitant at first and got braver. I was pulling 15' thorn vines that had thick half inch length thorns. Never did feel anything. After that, I looked at the palms of the gloves and there were indentations that were deep where the thorns were, but they never pierced the gloves. I've been busting up concrete with a sledge and a pick. Digging up trailer loads of dirt with a shovel and not a blister or cut anywhere. I got in a hurry today and left the gloves inside. I was digging and swinging a pick for an hour. My hands were burning. I had made some large blisters on the pads below my thumbs. I had to finish the job hours later and I put these on and I was able to work without much pain from the blisters. I did just notice that when I was washing my hands, my palms were a jaundice color yellow. It startled me a bit but I'm pretty sure it's from the gloves. They are yellow inside as well. Other than that I have nothing but praise for these gloves. Worth every dime.
