• 1893 – Tourney Lumber began at this location (200 W. Euclid St.) (Our Current Location)
• 1902 – E.R. Burkholder purchased Tourney Lumber and renamed McPherson Lumber
• 1933 – Lake Superior Lumber purchased McPherson Lumber, renaming it Lake Superior Lumber
• 1955 – Les Jantz started in the business the 1st Wednesday in May
• 1961-1964 – Les Jantz moved to Lincoln Kansas to run the Leidigh and Havens Lumber Co.
• 1964 – Les Jantz moved back to McPherson to run Lake Superior Lumber
• 1966 – Harold and Warner Harris, Harold Schlender and Les Jantz purchased Lake Superior and renamed it Harris Lumber
• 1976 – Tony Jantz began his career here
• 1985 – Les and Shirley Jantz purchased Harris Lumber and renamed Jantz Lumber and Hardware Inc.
• 1987 – Joleen Jantz began her career here
• 1990 – Les and Shirley did a major remodel and began operating as Jantz Lumber Do it Center
• 2013 – January 1 Les and Shirley officially retired.
