How a Green Mountain Grill Works

Green Mountain Grills are wood fired pellet grills that burn flavored pellets to create pure hardwood smoke and heat inside the grill, cooking your food thoroughly and giving it an unbeatable smoked flavor. The basic process goes like this:

The digital controller maintains temperature by controlling pellet flow
A motor turns the auger that feeds wood pellets into the firebox
A hot rod inside the firebox ignites the pellets while a combustion fan keeps them burning
A fan inside the hopper creates positive pressure and prevents back burn
When the two air flows meet, they create the ultimate wood-burning fire and circulate pure hardwood smoke throughout the grill
