SharkBite Push-to-Connect Fittings - How to Install PEX Tubing, Copper Tubing, and CPVC Tubing
Installing a push-to-connect SharkBite fitting is easy. Here's how:
- Cut the pipe or tube you're working with evenly, so that its ends are square. Make sure you deburr the ends of the pipe so that there are no rough edges.
- If you're using copper, mark the correct depth for the fitting. SharkBite's deburring tool can help you mark the proper depth on copper pipe after you've smoothed out the cut edges. SharkBite PVC tubing has markings to help you know when the tube is inserted all the way.
- Then, simply push the tube into the SharkBite fitting until you reach the depth mark. That's it
