EMAX construction features an extended heavy duty die cast ADC12 aluminum valve body and housing with industrial grade powder-coat finish for maximum durability plus the reliable power and performance features needed for even extreme continuous duty industrial and commercial use. Inside, EMAX incorporates a powerful 5-blade rotor, rugged PTI bearings and an industrial grade bevel gear to generate 4500 rpm of free speed allowing this tool to stand up to heavy continuous duty demand. All other key internal components such as cylinder, rotor, spindle, and pinion are manufactured from case-hardened SCM21 steel to deliver optimum torque and extend tool life. Smooth variable speed control is available through an ergonomic soft-touch three-finger trigger throttle. The effective anti-dust protection system insulates the internal components from sanding residue, eliminates contamination, and ensures reliability, performance and extends tool life. An internal noise diffusing system reduces noise levels and sonic fatigue to user. Downward thrust exhaust port routes air exhaust away from the user and helps to keep the working surface clean.
