One of the most popular squares in the Swanson lineup, the 16in. Combination Square features CNC-machined working surfaces for more reliable accuracy as well as 45 and 90 marks. This square is the perfect choice for common carpentry tasks such as gauging depth, scribing lines for ripping material, mitering, and drawing notches. The blade is made from stainless steel and includes precision-etched gradations in both US and metric units that are accurate to within .001 in. The handle holds a hardened removable scribe for marking surfaces as you work, and its impact-resistant acrylic vial outperforms less durable tube-type vials. Made with the professional in mind, this tool is a carpentry classic.
