In 2024, Jay and Mea French, along with their three kids (Sam, Liz and Megan) brought new life to a beloved local business by reopening the doors of Hygiene Feed and Mercantile after its closure.

With a deep love for the area and a passion for serving their neighbors, and the agricultural community, the French family expanded the store’s offerings beyond feed and livestock supplies to include housewares, lawn and garden essentials, and a growing selection of hardware for your home projects. 

Whether you’re caring for critters, checking off your weekend DIY list, or just passing through our small town, we’d love to welcome you in.
