The CBSTQ cast-in-place column base is engineered to support wood posts in residential and light commercial construction. With higher download capacities than previous models, the CBSTQ offers a reliable solution for projects requiring a secure connection between wood posts and concrete. It incorporates a 1" standoff to comply with building codes and reduce moisture-related post-end rot. Equipped with S-shaped bearing tabs, the CBSTQ provides increased load capacity and enhanced structural stability.
- Code-required 1 in. standoff design that elevates the post above the concrete, protecting it from moisture and resisting rot
- S-shaped bearing tabs that provide increased strength, allowing for higher downloads
- Strong-Drive SDS Heavy-Duty Connector screws (included) provide a greater wood net section area than bolts
