PVC schedule 80 plain end gray pipe is for pressure uses. Schedule 80 fittings are used with chemical processing, industrial plating, chilled water distribution, chemical drainage, and other high pressure fluid applications. Installation requires the use of primer and solvent cement.
- ASTM D 1784, ASTM D 1785, and NSF standards 14 and 61
- Intended for pressure use
- Maximum working temperature: 140 Deg F
- High tensile and impact strength
- Thicker wall than Schedule 40 pipe
- Better sound deadening qualities than PVC and ABS foam core pipe
- Requires no special tools for cutting and to be installed with solvent cement
