Each Ball Fermentation Kit includes a Wide Mouth quart (32 oz.) jar, and a Wide Mouth fermentation lid specifically-designed help keep oxygen out, while still allowing for carbon dioxide to escape during the fermentation process. A stainless-steel spring fermentation weight is also included to keep your food submerged under the brine and help prevent unwanted bacteria growth. For fermentation inspiration, each kit comes with a step-by-step recipe booklet and pickling salt.
