Valu Crew Gives A Hand Up To Syracuse Habitat For Humanity

Valu Crew Syracuse Habitat for Humanity

Valu Crew, Valu Home Centers' community service initiative, volunteered with Habitat for Humanity of Syracuse to help rehab a home for a local family in need.

Members of the Valu Home Centers Team volunteered their time to tear out old carpeting, clean and prepare surfaces for painting, and prime colorful surfaces for a new coat of paint. Pictured above is the wonderful family that will be living in this home once it is completed!

Valu Crew enables any member of the Valu Home Centers team to take an active role in bettering our community, and to amaze our customers with our hard work and dedication.

This new initiative puts the do-it-yourself knowledge of the Valu Home Centers Team in action through service to our community.

Valu Home Centers has been a proud partner of Habitat for Humanity since 1993.

Over the course of 23 years, together with their generous customers, Valu Home Centers has raised and donated more than $3,400,000 in support of Habitat for Humanity’s mission to build safe, decent housing for all. In addition to fundraising, we encourage our customers to become Habitat for Humanity volunteers. What better way to convince others to ‘give a hand up’ than to lead by example?

Now through July 30, 2016, for every $1 donation made to Habitat for Humanity at Valu Home Center, the customer is entered into a drawing for one of five $1,000 Valu Home Center gift cards or the grand prize, a 2016 Ford Focus.

Please give generously at your neighborhood Valu Home Center today, and help Habitat for Humanity change lives one home at a time!
