Valu Home Centers presented Kids Escaping Drugs with a check for $39,480 during a live televent broadcasted on April 13, 2016. The televent, broadcast from the KED Renaissance Campus, is an annual event that raises money and awareness for the work of Kids Escaping Drugs.
Valu Home Centers 2016 “Make a Change Campaign”
This donation was generated from funds collected in Western New York area Valu stores during the sixteenth annual Make A Change campaign.
For six weeks, our cashiers asked customers to round up their purchase or drop their spare coins in a collection bin to help make a difference in the life of a young person in the communities that they serve. 100% of these donations will support the treatment and prevention of substance abuse in children and teens. Valu Home Centers is happy to cover all administrative costs and associated fees from this fundraising campaign to ensure that every penny of your contribution goes directly to young people in need.
