Valu Raises $50,240 For Habitat Buffalo

Valu has been a proud supporter of Habitat For Humanity, raising $3.8 million over 26 years - a testament of our dedication to non-profits that make a direct impact on the communities in which our stores serve. This year, Valu raised a total of $50,240, by donating the profits of a massive lighting liquidation sale. One hundred percent of the profits from the sale went right to Habitat and lights remaining on the shelves were donated and used in Habitat homes or sold in their Restore locations.

Executive Director of Habitat Buffalo, Teresa Bianchi, speaks on the partnership,

"Don't forget about the all of the Valu employees that come out and build with us. When you think about the perfect partner, Valu is that. It's funding - for our construction mission - for our Restores and it's giving back in a tangible, physical way as well."
