Valu Crew, Valu Home Centers’ community service initiative, volunteered with Habitat for Humanity of Erie, PA to help rehab a home for a local family in need.

Members of the Valu Home Centers Team volunteered their time to help locate and measure out studs, hang ceiling drywall, fill the walls with insulation, and complete other construction tasks.

Valu Crew volunteers take an active role in bettering our community, and amaze our customers with their hard work and dedication.

This new initiative puts the do-it-yourself knowledge of the Valu Home Centers Team in action through service to our community.

Valu Home Centers has been a proud partner of Habitat for Humanity since 1993.

Over the course of 24 years, together with their generous customers, Valu Home Centers has raised and donated more than $3,500,000 in support of Habitat for Humanity’s mission to build safe, decent housing for all. In addition to fundraising, we encourage our customers to become Habitat for Humanity volunteers. What better way to convince others to ‘give a hand up’ than to lead by example?
