Valu Home Centers & Habitat Buffalo Raise A Wall At 300th House
On May 17th, Valu Home Centers and Habitat for Humanity Buffalo joined together for a wall raising ceremony at Habitat Buffalo’s 300th house.
This ceremony marks a milestone in the construction of the 300th house, which is a new build currently under construction that will be dedicated to Valu Home Centers upon completion. The dedication of this new home in Buffalo’s Bailey Green neighborhood is in recognition of Valu Home Centers celebrating our 25th year of partnership with Habitat for Humanity.
Valu Home Centers volunteers, Valu Crew, will support the construction of the 300th house through various construction projects during their Celebration Through Service initiative. Valu Crew enables any member of our team to take an active role in bettering our community, and to amaze our customers with our hard work and dedication.
We are proud to support Habitat for Humanity in their mission to provide safe, affordable housing for all, not only in Buffalo, NY, but also in more than 15 affiliate locations in the communities where their stores are located.
At Valu Home Centers, we believe strongly in giving where we live, so funds generated from their annual Habitat for Humanity sweepstakes always stay in the neighborhoods where we are collected.
