Outdoor Movie Projector Screen DIY

This project is a great way to get the kids involved hands-on, and creates something that the whole family can enjoy together.

Using simple and inexpensive supplies,  you can turn your yard into a deluxe movie theater that is sure to be a hit with the whole neighborhood. In this tutorial video, we'll show you how to build your own.

Materials you need to hold the screen up

Supply List:

  • 5 gallon buckets (2)
  • 8' 2x4 boards (2)
  • 2 bags of Sakrete concrete mix
  • Bed sheet (light gray works best for image contrast)
  • 2 screw eyes
  • 50 feet of rope (cut in 4 pieces)
  • 4 tent stakes
  • drill
  • staple gun
  • level
