Valu Home Centers Selected As 2016 Kids Escaping Drugs Community Partner Of The Year

We are proud to have been selected as the Kids Escaping Drugs Community Partner of the Year for 2016!

This great honor was announced at the Kids Escaping Drugs gala on June 2nd, 2016 in recognition of Valu Home Center's 17 year commitment to their programs.

With the help of our generous customers, we have donated over $650,000 to support Kids Escaping Drugs in their mission to develop and support facilities, community education, and advocacy programs for adolescents and their families in Western New York suffering from alcohol and drug dependency/addiction.

We would also like to thank our media partner, WGRZ - Channel 2 Buffalo, for their media support of our annual Make-A-Change campaign.

For six weeks, our cashiers ask customers to round up their purchase or drop their spare coins in a collection bin to help make a difference in the life of a young person in the communities that we serve. 100% of these donations will support the treatment and prevention of substance abuse in children and teens. We are happy to cover all administrative costs and associated fees from this fundraising campaign to ensure that every penny of your contribution goes directly to young people in need.
