Woodland Ag & Home was founded in December 2019 with a simple goal: to provide Deckerville and the surrounding communities with convenient access to the products, supplies, and services they need most.

Although launching the store was a family effort, Woodland Ag & Home is proudly owned and managed by Laura Baumeister. As a woman-owned business in the hardware and agricultural supply industry, Laura has built Woodland Ag & Home into a trusted destination for farmers, homeowners, businesses, and families throughout the area. Her dedication to customer service, hard work, and commitment to the community have helped the business grow into an essential local resource.

The idea for the store came from firsthand experience. As a farming family with deep roots in Deckerville, we understand the challenges that come with living in a rural community. Before Woodland Ag & Home opened its doors, local residents often had to travel long distances for basic supplies, parts, and services. We knew there was a need for a reliable local option, and we were determined to help fill that gap.

Our family's connection to Deckerville runs generations deep. Laura's husband was born and raised here, and he and their son continue the family farming tradition as partners in the family farm. Laura's children were also raised in Deckerville, and this community has always been, and always will be, home. Those roots give us a genuine understanding of the needs of the people we serve every day.

Over the years, we've been honored to hear countless customers tell us how grateful they are to have Woodland Ag & Home in town. We take great pride in saving our customers time, supporting local agriculture, and providing products and services that aren't readily available elsewhere in the area. Our goal has never been simply to operate a store. We strive to be a trusted resource and a dependable neighbor for everyone who walks through our doors.
