Bliffert is proud to announce the promotion of Alyssa Richter to Commercial Operations Manager, a well-earned next step for a team member who has consistently embraced growth, learning, and leadership throughout her 6.5 years with the company.
Since joining Bliffert in 2019, Alyssa has taken an approach rooted in curiosity and continuous improvement. Starting with no prior experience in lumber or building materials, she quickly immersed herself in the industry, building knowledge and confidence that allowed her to take on increasing responsibilities and deliver strong results along the way.
Now stepping into her new role, Alyssa is both honored and energized for what’s ahead. “I’m excited to take on new responsibilities and work with our existing and potential customers in a different way,” she shares. Her focus will be on expanding Bliffert’s commercial reach, growing sales across lumber, millwork, windows, and cabinets, while also building relationships with new commercial customers throughout the state.
Alyssa’s leadership style reflects her personality: approachable, steady, and dependable. She strives to create a work environment that feels positive and collaborative, while ensuring her team has what they need to succeed. “I want to be someone people can rely on, whether it’s answering questions quickly or working alongside the team to get the job done,” she says.
At her core, Alyssa is motivated by helping others. That mindset shows up not only in her work, but in how she supports her teammates and customers every day. As she steps into this new chapter, her goal is to be a trusted resource and a leader who leads by example.
Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys staying active and having fun, whether that’s cheering on the Brewers, riding her electric scooter around town, traveling, or spending time with her two cats and two dogs. A fun fact: she’s visited 21 Major League Baseball stadiums, a testament to her love of the game.
