With 26 years of experience in the lumber Industry, Michelle has built a career marked by operational excellence, sharp attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to people. She began her journey at Oostburg Lumber and played a key role in the successful merger with Bliffert Lumber in 2021, helping guide both teams through a period of growth and change with her deep industry knowledge. 

In an industry historically dominated by men, Michelle stands out as a steady and respected leader. She breaks barriers by doing what she does best: delivering results, supporting teammates, and setting a high standard for professionalism and care. Her leadership has helped shape a workplace culture defined by excellence, respect, and collaboration. 

Michelle also embodies the small-town spirit and family values that are core to Bliffert’s culture. Her dependable nature, strong work ethic, and ability to navigate change have earned her deep respect throughout the company.
