Michelle Heuter: 2026 Business Excellence Honoree

The Business Excellence award recognizes a leader whose growth, success and commitment to others are helping move the hardware and home improvement industry forward. This year, we’re proud to celebrate Bliffert’s own Michelle Heuter.

Michelle didn’t simply find her way into construction, she grew up around it. That early exposure gave her a strong foundation, but the career she has today was built through years of hard work, resilience and a willingness to keep learning.

Before joining Bliffert, Michelle gained experience in several roles across the industry. Each one strengthened her knowledge and helped her understand the business from different perspectives.

When Michelle came to Bliffert, she started in a support role. She learned the customers, the products and what it takes to keep projects moving. Over the past three years, she has taken that experience into outside sales, where she has quickly become a top performer.

Michelle manages key customer relationships, develops new business opportunities, and delivers accurate, competitive bids. But her success goes beyond the numbers. Customers and coworkers know they can count on her to respond, pay attention to the details and follow through.

Michelle also leads by example as a woman building a successful career in a traditionally male-dominated industry. Outside of work, she is a dedicated mother to her two boys and helps care for her parents. Her ability to show up for her customers, coworkers and family says everything about the kind of person she is.
