Mailbox Installer/Sales Associate

What We Are Looking For: We are looking for a person who’s meticulous about getting the job done correctly the first time. He or she will install mailboxes and mailbox posts for customers. This will involve assembling mailbox posts, boxes, accessories and installing numbers in the store. Then this person will go to a customer’s home, dig up the old mailbox and post (if needed) and install the new box and post. New posts will be set in concrete.

This position requires an able-bodied person who is capable of digging holes, removing concrete (if necessary) and installing boxes/posts at the correct height according to postal requirements. We will train.

 When not installing mailboxes, this position will work in the Louisville store as a sales associate.

 This is a part time position, but depending on level of expertise could be expanded into other repair opportunities in the store as well, such as lamps, tuneups, propane refills, key cutting, etc.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 or over and able to drive
• Must be available during the daytime hours.
• Detail oriented and willing to learn
• Friendly and respectful personality
• Must be able to dig holes, remove and install concrete, lift, handle, carry material up to 60 pounds
• Must be able to continuously stand or walk for long periods of time
• Excellent customer service skills
