About the Big Green EggFEST
Brought to you by Brownsboro Hardware & Paint
Join us July 31 and August 1, 2026 for two days of tastings, competitions and fun — with all food being cooked on Big Green Egg grills. Proceeds go to two local food-related charities — Kentucky Harvest and A Recipe to End Hunger.
Here is a rundown of what to expect:
Friday, July 31 · 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
- People's Choice Competition — All you can eat — you vote for the team you think is cooking the best food.
- "Chopped" Big Green Egg Style competition among three professional chefs cooking an appetizer, entrée and dessert on a Big Green Egg.
- FREE Bourbon Tasting onsite, courtesy of Maker's Mark
- West 6th Beer will be available for purchase, courtesy of West 6th
- $30 per person online; $35 at the door. Kids 12 and under FREE!
Saturday, August 1, 2026 · 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- "Best Beef Dish," "Best Pork Dish," and "Best Dessert Dish" competitions — featuring amateur cooks competing for the top trophies
- Big Green Egg cooking classes
- West 6th Beer will be available for purchase, courtesy of West 6th
- All the food you can eat!
- $20 per person online; $25 at the door. Kids 12 and under FREE!
IN ADDITION: Silent Auction
Look for the silent auction items! Bidding on dozens of items will open Monday, July 27, 2026, and will close Sunday, August 2, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.

WHAT HAPPENS TO EGGFEST EGGS?
Brownsboro Hardware & Paint will have dozens of "gently used" large and extra-large Big Green Eggs available for sale right after EggFEST. These are brand new Eggs that are used 1–2 days. Stay tuned for details!.
BECOME AN EGGFEST SPONSOR

COOKS
People's Choice
We are still accepting applications for amateur teams of chefs to form a "People's Choice Team" at EggFEST on Friday, July 31. You'll provide food samples for hundreds of attendees and compete for the "People's Choice" trophy.
EggFEST Cooks for Saturday
In addition, we are accepting applications to join the waitlist to cook on Saturday, August 1. Should openings come up, you will be notified.
