Max Hardware, previously Mac's Hardware, has been proudly serving the Marion, Indiana and Grant County area since 1940. Mac’s Hardware, initially owned by Glen McDaniel, first started as a hatchery in 1940. To adapt to changing community needs they started to provide lawn care products. From there the hardware store has grown to add hardware, paint and other home improvement items to help serve the Grant County community. In 2018, third generation owners granddaughters of Glen McDaniel sold Mac's Hardware to the Norris family, who shared their same values of providing the community with a friendly, helpful customer service & keeping the store a local, family oriented business. The store was renamed from Mac’s Hardware to Max Hardware, and has expanded the store to offer a variety of departments and products such as: lawn & garden, hardware, electrical, plumbing, hand tools and more. For decades, the store has remained and will continue to be a proud family run & operated business in Marion, Indiana. Max Hardware has a strong dedication to providing friendly customer service to continue to serve Grant County for all of their home improvement needs.
