Roberts 5900 is a high performance, ready-to-use Type I Mastic for installing ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, quarry and mosaic tile on floors and walls. It may be used for countertop, backsplash and shower wall installations, too. It spreads effortlessly, sets quickly and is easy to clean up.
- For the interior installation of porous and semi-porous ceramic tile (wall tile up to 12 In. x 12 In. or 5 Lbs. and floor tile up to 8 In. x 8 In.), porcelain wall tile (up to 6 In. x 6 In.), mosaic tile, natural stone, quarry and thin brick veneers
- Bonds with concrete, masonry, cement backer board, cement mortar beds, cured Portland cement plaster, gypsum wallboard, coated glass mat backer board, water resistant gypsum wallboard, existing ceramic or resilient tile, plastic laminate and association grade (CANPLY/APA) exterior plywood
- Ideal for direct bond installation
- Premixed and ready-to-use for faster installation
- Restrict foot traffic and moving of heavy objects for 24 to 48 hours to allow adhesive to cure properly
- Covers approximately 40 to 48 Sq. Ft. per gallon when applied with a 3/16 In. x 5/36 In. V-notch trowel and 20 to 30 Sq. Ft. per gallon when applied with a 1/4 In. x. 1/4 In. x. 1/4 In. square-notch trowel
- Not for the installation of ceramic tile fixtures, green marble or lug back tile
