Thermostatically controlled to activate automatically when temperatures are below 40 deg (degrees) F (Fahrenheit). Tested down to -42 deg F. Includes 10-foot power cord, lighted plug, and runs on standard 110-volt GFCI (ground fault circuit interrupter) outlet. Drinking water safe. UL (Underwriter's Laboratories) listed. 18-month limited warranty.
