Every day, customers leave the store with a product they never knew existed. One of my personal favorites is Restor-A-Finish. It’s been around since 1969, yet it rarely gets the recognition it deserves.

Restor-A-Finish works by gently dissolving the existing wood finish with a solvent, allowing a blend of stain and oil to penetrate and blend away minor scratches and blemishes. It restores and preserves the original finish, which is especially valuable when working with antique furniture since it can save the original lacquer and stain.

This product is particularly effective on intricately carved woodwork. Instead of spending hours refinishing, simply brush it on with a small paintbrush or soft toothbrush, then wipe it away.
