Newcomb Hardware was established in the spring of 1911, originally known as Crocker Hardware, by Frank Newcomb and another partner. In the fall of 1911, Frank bought out the rest of the hardware for full ownership. It stayed Crocker Hardware until 1969, when it was changed to Newcomb Hardware.
