Our Story

Providence Building Supply & Hardware grew out of our owners first business… Pole Barns.  They saw a need for a local building supplier and that’s when the dream came together.

Providence Building Supply (and then later & Hardware) opened in February 2018. Offering homeowners and contractors alike a full line of lumber and insulation products. Shortly thereafter, they quickly grew the building supply side of the business to add windows & doors, and a complete fastener selection. We also carry a large selection of metal roofing & siding. We can manufacture your metal and trim pieces to your specs in-house.

Fast forward to fall of 2018, the hardware store opened. Providence Building Supply & Hardware offers plumbing & electrical, paint & painting supplies, lawn & garden supplies, as well as general hardware items.

In 2021, we expanded our store and now have 9,000 sq. ft. of retail space.  Every day we are growing and adding more items for our valued customers. We are a proud Milwaukee® dealer and partner with Do it Best® to offer our community a vast selection of items. AND, if we don’t have it, we can order it for you.
